YNP 2026: Yukon Employer-Driven Streams & Allocation

The Yukon Nominee Program is entirely employer-driven: only Yukon employers can apply, and the worker needs a full-time, year-round job offer. For 2026, IRCC set Yukon's allocation at 282 nominations, used across two Expression of Interest intake windows (January 19–30 and July 6–17, 2026). A separate Yukon Business Nominee Program exists for foreign entrepreneurs.

  2. 2. The employer advertises the job for 4 weeks in at least 3 places, including Job Bank, and cannot find a qualified Canadian or PR.
  3. 3. The employer submits an Expression of Interest (EOI) during one of the 2026 intake windows (January 19–30 or July 6–17), with a consent-to-share form signed by both employer and worker.
  4. 4. Invited employers attend an information session and submit a complete application by the deadline.
  5. 5. On approval, the employer, nominee and Government of Yukon sign a Tri-Partite Agreement; the nominee applies to IRCC for PR within 6 months.
