Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP)
AIP is a permanent federal-provincial program (since 2022) for Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and PEI, requiring a job offer from a designated Atlantic employer.
Targets TEER 0-4 job offers plus Atlantic graduates, with a settlement plan required. As of 2026, processing runs 30+ months, so AIP is no longer faster than other PNPs; NB paused new AIP employer designations in food/accommodation services Feb 3-Dec 2026.
