Rural Community Immigration Pilot (RCIP)
RCIP is an active federal pilot (launched January 30, 2025) replacing RNIP (closed August 2024), covering 14 designated rural communities in 6 provinces.
Requires a job offer from a designated employer, 1+ year related experience, CLB 4-6 by TEER, ECA-assessed credential, and settlement funds. Accepts TEER 0-5 but needs a community recommendation before applying for PR.
