Francophone Community Immigration Pilot (FCIP)
FCIP is an active federal pilot (launched January 30, 2025 with RCIP) offering PR to French-speaking skilled workers with a job at a designated employer in one of 6 Francophone-minority communities outside Quebec.
Communities: Greater Sudbury, Timmins, Superior East (ON); Acadian Peninsula (NB); St. Pierre-Jolys (MB); Kelowna (BC). Needs a job offer, NCLC 5+ French in all abilities, qualifying experience/credential, settlement funds, and a community recommendation. Supports raising French-speaking PR admissions outside Quebec (~9% in 2026, targeting ~12% by 2029).
