Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR)

The COPR is the official document confirming a person became a Canadian permanent resident, presented at entry or a landing appointment to activate PR status.

Valid as a SIN application document for only 1 year after becoming a PR — after that, use the PR card. Keep it safe; it's accepted for health card/bank registrations before the PR card (mailed in 60-90 days) arrives.
