Programme de l'expérience québécoise (PEQ)
The PEQ is Quebec's pass/fail (no points grid) streamlined PR pathway for workers and graduates already established in Quebec.
Suspended Nov 19, 2025, reopened for 2 years (July 2, 2026-2028); first intake (July 2-Oct 31, 2026, uncapped) limited to those meeting conditions by Nov 19, 2025. Two streams: Quebec workers (24 months TEER 0-3 work in 36 months) and graduates (eligible diploma within 36 months, half completed in Quebec). Both need oral French ~NCLC 7; graduates also need written French 5; spouses need oral French 4. Quebec dropped the French-instruction requirement on reopening. Successful applicants get a CSQ, then apply federally.
