Designated Learning Institution (DLI)
A DLI is a school approved by a provincial or territorial government to host international students on a study permit.
Only some DLIs make graduates PGWP-eligible. Each has a unique DLI number required on the study permit application; provinces, not IRCC, maintain designation status, so re-check close to application time.
