Study Permit
A study permit authorizes a foreign national to study at a Designated Learning Institution in Canada for programs longer than 6 months.
Needs DLI acceptance, sufficient funds (at least $23,448 CAD living funds outside Quebec, effective Sept 1, 2026, plus first-year tuition), and sometimes biometrics/a medical exam. May allow on/off-campus work; often leads to PGWP eligibility.
